The Radiomaster TX12 is a small and compact radio with EdgeTX open source firmware and hall gimbals. This version includes an ELRS transmitter module. ExpressLRS (abbreviated as ELSR) is an open source project, and the transmitter and receiver modules are produced by multiple manufacturers. ELSR is currently one of the most advanced RC transmissions. It offers a reliable long-distance link, high refresh rate up to 500Hz, adjustable power, update via wifi, bluetooth connectivity and more. ELRS at 2.4GHz outperforms classic RC systems at the same frequency in all respects while maintaining short antennas. The transmitter has a JR shaft and can be expanded with other external transmitter modules such as TBS Crossfire or Tracer.

The supply voltage of the transmitter is 6.6-8.4V DC. The transmitter package contains a cage for two 18650 batteries. The batteries are not included in the package. They can be charged via the USB-C connector on the top of the transmitter, which is also used to connect to a PC. A pleasant feature is the detachable antenna and tilting holder, which saves space in case of transport.

The transmitter is delivered in mode 2 as standard.

The TX12 comes with firmware installed, which is the best and most stable at the time of manufacture. If you do not have enough knowledge needed to update the firmware, do not start the update. Improper handling could result in system collapse or chaotic radio operation. Modification of the software and firmware by the user voids the warranty.
